Due to the rising number of positive cases, as well as the need to quarantine; Dade County High School and Dade County Middle School will transition their education to virtual learning starting Wednesday. According to Dade County School Superintendent Josh Ingle, this does not affect Dade Elementary School or the remaining classes at Davis Elementary. Buses will run as usual for these Elementary School students. Also all after-school activities will continue as normal at the present time.
The following was sent via text to parents from the Dade County School update system:
“Dade Middle School and Dade County High School will transition to remote learning for the remainder of the week beginning Wednesday 08/18/2021. Chromebooks will be sent home with students today. We will let you know about next week by tomorrow afternoon.”
