Dade County is facing #1 ranked Pace Academy in Atlanta today at 5:30 in the State Tournament

WOLVERINES LOSE HEART BREAKER IN OT IN CONSOLATION GAME 58-54
Summerville—The Dade County Wolverines (9-9) lost two during the Region 7AA tournament last week. On Wednesday, the Wolverines fell to Model (20-5) as Model’s hot shooting JR guard Dane Fisher took over in the second half as Model cruised to a 70-52 win over first year coach Mark Whitt’s team.
On Thursday, the Wolverines came out hot against Coosa (15-11) and led by 14 with 4 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The Eagles heated up from behind the arc and tied the game 52-52 at the end of regulation. The Wolverines struggled at the charity stripe missing 9 of 12 in regulation. The Wolverines were only able to get one bucket by SR 1st Team All Region player Gabe Costley who led the Wolverines with 22 points.
Dade County now has the tough assignment of facing #1 ranked Pace Academy in Atlanta. Pace is 23-1 with the one loss coming November 21 to Sandy Creek who is currently ranked #1 in AAA. The game is set for Wednesday at 5:30 PM. Due to strict Covid-19 lockdown rules at the school, only 80 fans will be allowed in the gym for the game. The game will be broadcast on 101.3 FM and 1420 AM as well as the New Mix 106.1 and 1480 AM. The Pregame show will come on at 5:00 PM.
