Dade County firefighters have been busy lately; Monday afternoon, a fire on HWY 11 South was contained to a bedroom. Later that evening, officials responded to a fire on New Home Road on Sand Mountain. Unfortunately, according to the information given, that home was a total loss. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries on either scene.
