Cloudland Canyon Hiker Rescued By Dade Mountain Rescue and New Salem Fire Department

On Monday, April 24th, the Dade Mountain Rescue and the New Salem Fire Department responded to an emergency call wherein a hiker had reportedly fallen while at Cloudland Canyon State Park. Rescuers successfully extracted the hiker and exported her using an ATV to get her out of the park.

The victim complained of neck and back pain from her fall and was treated for non-life threatening injuried.
