TRENTON, GA — A new resource aimed at strengthening the local workforce is coming to Dade County.
The Dade County Industrial Development Authority, in partnership with the Cherokee Regional Library System, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new Career Center at the Dade County Public Library on Monday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m.
The new Career Center will provide residents with access to job search assistance, workforce development tools, and career-building resources — all in a convenient, community-centered location.
Leaders say the partnership is designed to connect local residents with opportunities while supporting area employers and strengthening the workforce across Dade County.
“This is about helping people build successful careers without having to leave the community,” organizers said. “By working together, we’re creating a stronger local economy and brighter futures for our residents.”
Officials encourage the public to attend the ribbon cutting and learn more about how the Career Center can support their professional goals.
The event is open to the community and marks a major step forward in expanding workforce resources right here in Dade County.
