A Friday morning wreck has claimed the life of a Higdon, AL woman. Dade County authorities were dispatched to the 4300 block of Brow Road in the nine-o’clock hour in response to a one vehicle accident that had left the roadway and hit a tree. The Dade County emergency personnel arrived on the scene along with the Dade County Sheriff’s department. The Dade County coroner’s office has identified the driver of the vehicle as 54 year-old Karen Register of Higdon, Alabama. Register was the only one in the vehicle. Georgia State Patrol investigated the accident.
