LOCAL ARTISTS TO HEADLINE 1945 DADE COUNTY FAIR
The planning is moving ahead fast and furiously for the 1945 Dade County Fair to be held this year on Saturday July 3 in Trenton, starting, this year at Noon and running until the Fabulous Fireworks Show at Dark! Since the Pandemic cancelled last years’ event, the decision was made to extra long this year so that Dade countians have the chance to get and enjoy our wonderful City and make it a great day – with NO admission to the fair!
Local musical artists CHRIS SHUPE and DALLAS WALKER will be headlining the stage this year bringing their talents back home for the 4th of July Celebration, while the planning committee is currently negotiating with other music acts, that will be named later –
In addition to the outstanding music choices this year, the Fair will feature local vendors for food, snow cones, popcorn, cotton candy, and other great food and snacks, All Day bingo, an Antique Auto Show, the cakewalk and many other activities and events
If its contests that you want, you got em! Cornhole Tournament, horse shoe tournament, and contests of pie eating, hot dog eating, a home run derby, Day at the races, the talent show, watermelon eating, the Men’s Hairy leg contest, the “almost famous Duck race”, the Frozen T-shirt contest, and Pie baking contest are only the beginning where you’ll be able to compete for prizes.
For the kids, the KIDZONE will be better than ever, featuring Inflatables, The Dunk Tank, candy scramble water slides and the Famous Foam Machine. Added this year will be the Kids’ Arcade, full of Fair Arcade Games
And finally , local vendors will all kinds of products and services will be on display all over the Fair, as you can come out an browse or buy – it’s your Day!
And we finish off with the Spectacular Fireworks Show at Dark! This will be the 4th year in a row of the Fireworks display and will be so far the best!!!

The Goal at the inception of the Fair was to provide a place for Dade Countians and our neighbors, old and young alike to have a place to Celebrate the 4th of July, Free of charge. This is the 3rd active year of the Fair, and 4th year of Fireworks, and getting better
