Tuesday, June 30 at 5 PM at the Dade County Public Library. Join us on Tuesday, June 30 for a special family-friendly celebration honoring America’s 250th Birthday! All ages are welcome for an evening of history, patriotism, and hands-on fun. Members of the American Legion will present a flag-folding demonstration, perform TAPS, and display historical artifacts while offering activities for children. Local historian Donna Street will also share the story of America’s founding 250 years ago, exploring the events that shaped our nation and the history of Georgia and Dade County during that remarkable time. Bring the whole family and discover the people, places, and traditions that helped shape our community and country.
