Back-to-school season is here, and Rising Fawn Baptist Church is inviting students, families, teachers and school staff to kick off the new school year with a special Back to School Sunday celebration.
The event will take place Sunday, Aug. 2, at 10:50 a.m. at Rising Fawn Baptist Church. This year’s theme is “Made for More,” based on Ephesians 2:10, reminding students that they are God’s workmanship, created for a purpose.
Everyone from pre-kindergarten through college will receive a special gift, and church leaders say they have planned a meaningful service for students, teachers and school staff as they prepare for the year ahead. The event will also feature giveaways, encouragement, community fellowship and a photo area where families can capture back-to-school memories.
Organizers hope the morning will help students head into the new school year feeling encouraged and confident, with the message that “God is with you every step.”
