Get your bags ready and join the Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park for their first-ever Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cloudland Canyon State Park.
Teams of two can compete for cash prizes, with awards for first, second and third place. Registration is $20 per team, and concessions will be available throughout the afternoon. Participants are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the event.
The tournament will take place at the temporary visitor center, located near the back gift parking lot on the west side of the park. Parking is free.
Whether you’re competing for the prizes or just coming out to cheer on the teams, organizers invite the community to enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition while supporting Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m., with bags flying at 2 p.m.
