Monday night baseball is coming up as the Atlanta Braves welcome the San Diego Padres to Truist Park for the opening game of their series.
The Braves begin the night with a 57-and-41 record and have played especially well in Atlanta, posting a 29-and-19 home record. They will look to get the series started with a victory and continue building momentum during the second half of the season.
The Padres enter the matchup at 49-and-50 overall and 22-and-26 on the road. San Diego will be looking to return to the .500 mark while trying to slow down a Braves club that has been difficult to beat at home.
