Trenton Commissioners Set May 11 Workshop and Regular Meeting
The Trenton Board of Commissioners will hold its monthly workshop and regular meeting on Monday, May 11, at 6:00 p.m. at Trenton City Hall.
The meeting will take place in the City Hall meeting room, located at 12882 North Main Street.
During the workshop portion of the meeting, commissioners are expected to consider several items, including approval of the agenda, approval of previous meeting minutes, board appointments and proclamations, approval of appointments to the TDAC Advisory Board, SPLOST and capital equipment matters, and a review of trash pickup.
The regular meeting will follow, beginning with the call to order by Mayor Joseph A. Case, along with the invocation, Pledge of Allegiance and commissioners roll call.
Departmental reports are scheduled from the Police Department, Parks and Recreation, TDAC, Fire and Utilities, Streets, and the Mayor.
Several appearances are also listed on the agenda, including Lydia Soucy with the Dade County Library, Sandy White with Alliance for Dade, and Jane Dixon regarding Tree City USA.
The agenda also includes legal matters, unfinished business, citizen participation, new business, consideration of workshop items, and an executive session if necessary.
