Early Voting Set for May 19 Primary in Dade County

TRENTON, GA — Voters in Dade County will soon be able to cast their ballots early ahead of the May 19 General Primary.

Early voting will run from April 27 through May 15, taking place at one location in Dade County — the Elections Office at 71 Case Avenue in Trenton.

Polls will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the early voting period. Officials will also offer extended hours on May 12, with voting available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What’s on the Ballot

Voters will be deciding a number of key races, including U.S. Senate, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and other statewide offices, along with congressional and legislative contests.

Locally, Dade County voters will also decide two County Commission seats and two Board of Education seats, making this an important election at both the state and local level.

Nonpartisan races will also appear on the ballot, including seats on the Georgia Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and Superior Court.

Election Day is set for Tuesday, May 19.
