Lady Wolverines Fall to East Laurens, Season Comes to a Close

TRENTON, Ga. — The Dade County Lady Wolverines saw their season come to an end Tuesday night in the first round of the 2026 Georgia High School Association State Tournament.

Dade County fell on the road to East Laurens, 65-38, in Northeast Georgia. East Laurens entered the matchup with a 23-4 record and advances to the second round of the state playoffs.

The Lady Wolverines finish their season with a 9-21 record after earning a state tournament berth through region play.

Boys Open State Play Wednesday Night

State playoff action continues for Dade County as the Wolverines hit the road Wednesday night for first-round competition.
