Coffee Talk with the Commission Continues Tuesday Morning in Dade County
TRENTON, Ga. — Dade County residents will have another opportunity to speak directly with local leaders Tuesday morning as “Coffee Talk with the Commission” continues at the Historic Dade County Courthouse.
The informal community meeting will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and is open to the public.
Hosted by the Dade County Board of Commissioners, the weekly sessions are designed to give residents a welcoming space to ask questions, learn about county operations, and engage directly with commissioners and staff.
Chairman Don Townsend previously said the goal of the series is to provide clear, factual information and encourage open dialogue — particularly as the SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) renewal appears on the May ballot.
Early sessions have focused on explaining how SPLOST works, how funds have been used in the past, and what renewal would mean for Dade County moving forward.
County officials say residents are encouraged to attend, share concerns, and learn more about current projects and future plans.
Coffee Talk with the Commission is held each Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Historic Dade County Courthouse.
