Dade County Schools to Be Closed Monday Due to Winter Weather

DADE COUNTY, Ga. — Dade County Schools will be closed on Monday due to ongoing winter weather conditions.

School officials also announced that there will be no extracurricular activities, including practices, games, or after-school events.

The closure is being issued out of an abundance of caution as freezing temperatures and icy conditions continue to impact roadways across the county.

Parents and students are encouraged to continue monitoring official school communications and local media for additional updates.
