Walker County authorities report that 16-year-old Leah Elizabeth Jenkins, who was reported missing late Sunday night, has been found safe.
According to the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, Jenkins was located on Tuesday morning and is now safe with her family.
Officials expressed gratitude to the public for their assistance and to everyone who shared information to help locate the teen.
Jenkins was last seen around 11:45 p.m. on November 9, leaving her residence on Raleigh Drive in LaFayette. The Sheriff’s Office said no further details are being released at this time as the investigation concludes.
