Election Day: Tuesday, November 4, 2025
TRENTON, Ga. (October 14, 2025) — Dade County voters are reminded that the General City and Special Election is coming up soon. Here’s what you need to know before heading to the polls:


Early Voting

Now through October 31
 Dade County Administrative Building – 71 Case Avenue, Trenton
Monday–Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
No voting on Monday, November 3


Election Day Voting

 Tuesday, November 4, 2025
 Polls open 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
 All Dade County precincts will be open:
Trenton · Davis · North Dade · South Dade · West Brow · New Salem · New Home
Bring a valid photo ID to vote.


On the Ballot

Public Service Commission (Districts 2 & 3)
Regulates Georgia’s electric, gas, and telecom utilities — two statewide seats are up for election.

City of Trenton Police Commissioner
Mike Norris (Incumbent) · Austin Henegar · Corbin York

City of Trenton Parks & Recreation Commissioner
Terry Powell (Incumbent) · Cody Doyle

Education SPLOST VII (Countywide Referendum)
A proposed renewal of the one-percent Education Sales Tax supporting the Dade County School District.
If approved, ESPLOST VII will continue funding:

  • Facility improvements

  • Classroom technology

  • School safety

  • Transportation

  • Long-term infrastructure


Absentee Voting

Request deadline: Friday, October 24
 Ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day
