Dade County Board Of Elections Rejected The Recall Application Targeting Dade County Executive Don Townsend For Filing Errors And lack Of Notarization

TRENTON, Ga. —On Friday Sept 5th  the Dade County Board of Elections rejected a recall application targeting Dade County Executive Don Townsend for filing errors and lack of notarization, the petitioner requested a second application and now has until Sept. 22 to submit it, officials said. The new filing must be properly completed, notarized, and signed by at least 100 registered voters. If the Board accepts the application as complete, the matter proceeds to judicial review before a Superior Court judge to determine legal sufficiency before any further steps.
