Ingles Supermarkets Accepting Cash Or Check Only For The Immediate Future

Last week’s storms have also hit Ingles grocery stores hard.  Ingles has locations in Trenton, Jasper and Ringgold.  They are currently only accepting cash or check payments for groceries.  Ingles is based in Asheville North Carolina.  Its distribution center is also located in western North Carolina was hit hard.  An Ingles employee told a North Carolina newspaper that the company’s headquarters was underwater.  The company is currently not able to handle credit card transactions in any of their 200 stores across the southeast.  The  Trenton, Jasper  and Ringgold locations will accept cash or check only.
