Chief Meteorologist, Patrick Core predicts pleasant morning temperatures ranging from the lower to middle 60s, with plenty of sunshine throughout the day. Temperatures are expected to increase to around 90 to 92 degrees, but humidity levels will also slowly rise. He notes that this morning may be the last mild one for a while as the dog days of summer approach, with the worst heat expected in Texas. However, there may be some heat in the second half of next week. Overall, temperatures will remain close to normal, with highs in the lower 90s, and the heat index could become an issue. The next few days will mainly be dry, with scattered showers and thunderstorms potentially on Friday and increasing chances over the weekend.
