Metallica will guest on this Friday’s (9-10) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The band made the announcement and said, that Jimmy Kimmel invited them back to celebrate the reissue of The Black Album.
Their appearance is the same day of the release, which will be available in multiple formats, including a deluxe box set, double vinyl LP, and a three-CD expanded edition.
It’s been nearly 5 years since Metallica was on the show and they hinted that there may be a few surprises.
The Black Album is one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed records of all time. Released in 1991, it became their first #1 album in 10 different countries.
It also remains unchallenged as the best-selling album in the history of Nielsen SoundScan. It has outsold every release in every genre over the past 30 years.
