Wolfgang Tweeted, "This is just a s****y lie attempting to capitalize on these awful times. Please stop with this. Anyone peddling this s*** is not only hurting the fans, but hurting me and my family."
Blabbermouth reported Wolfgang was responding to a discussion on a private Wolfgang Facebook group, which suggested that Eddie Van Halen had given his son "his blessing" to take his place in the reunited lineup, which would also feature Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony rejoining drummer Alex Van Halen.
