While promoting his upcoming EP, Zoom In, Ringo Starr chatted with Mexican journalist Martha Debayle, and shed light on how Covid completely upended the rock's touring industry.

Ringo, who had books two legs worth of All Starr Band tour dates, saw his year, like all of us, sidelined and in quarantine: ["Y'know, I shoulda been playing in Mexico last year. Y'know, I (laughs) turn into a five-year-old — 'I wanna play!!!' No, nobody's playing. And, y'know, what amazes me is how little I knew and everybody knew. Because I remember in March, tellin' the fans that — I'll do them all; the same dates this year. And it it's not gonna happen. It's goin' on longer than anybody thought. Y'know, we didn't know how serious it was. So, there's nothing we can do about it. We just gotta get on with it."] SOUNDCUE (:29 OC: . . . on with it)
