    Central and northern Alabama, Extreme northwest and west central Georgia
    EFFECTIVE
    This Monday afternoon and evening from 400 PM until 1000 PM CDT.
    THREATS
    Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible, Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible, A tornado or two possible
    SITUATION
    Clusters of storms will spread eastward from Mississippi into Alabama through late evening, and eventually reach northwest Georgia. Storm mode will be complicated with a mix of clusters and some embedded supercells with attendant threats of occasional wind damage, large hail, and a tornado or two. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles north and south of a line from 55 miles southwest of Muscle Shoals AL to 45 miles east northeast of Anniston AL.     PRECAUTIONS
    A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce tornadoes.

Pearl Jam To Release 30th Anniversary Edition Of ‘Vs.’

On November 17, Pearl Jam will re-release their sophomore album. Vs. on vinyl and cassette. The LP will be a translucent orange with white swirls, with Target stores offering their own exclusive version as well. The set is 12 tracks, plus three bonus songs.

In 1993, in talking about the album, Eddie Vedder told Rolling Stone that, Vs. is the sound of a band who won't compromise its message or meaning. It's the moment the tide really turned.”

The news comes as Pearl Jam celebrates the 30th anniversary of the albums first release.
