The official Nickelback documentary, Hate To Love Nickelback, will get its world premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The film explores how one of the most successful acts in music history is known as one of the most hated bands.
Lead singer and guitarist, Chad Kroeger says the band pokes fun at the online memes and he recalled a funny conversation he had with Brian Johnson of AC/DC. He said, that at dinner one night, Johnson told him he was “in good company.” Because when “Back In Black” came out, AC/DC was then considered to be – “the most hated band on the planet.”
The new documentary is a culmination of 6 years of filming.
