As part of their 50th Anniversary celebration of their debut album, Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd, the southern rockers will be featured on PBS next month.
The famed Lynyrd Skynyrd concert was recorded at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium last November. It was the final performance by the last original founding member Gary Rossington, who passed away four months later.
Lynyrd Skynyrd: Celebrating 50 Years, will begin airing August 12 on PBS.
The current lineup of Lynyrd Skynyrd which includes Johnny Van Zant, is on the road with ZZ Top this summer, on the Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour.
