Kid Rock has rolled out a 25-date arena and shed run for this spring and summer, dubbed the "Bad Reputation Tour." Billboard reported Rock will have Grand Funk Railroad or Foreigner opening different portions of the trek, with Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening warming up the crowds before the opener switchover takes place. Country singer Trey Lewis will also be on the bill for the Dallas date.

The 2022 "Bad Reputation Tour" kicks off on April 6th in Evansville, Indiana at the Ford Center and stretches on through September 16th and 17th over a two-night stand in Clarkson, Michigan's Pine Knob Music Theatre.

Not too long ago, Kid Rock was asked to describe his live show: ["This show goes so many different places, y'know, genre-hopping musically. Y'know, it goes from rock n' roll to gospel to, of course, blues, and country music and hip-hop. We always joke, y'know, that we'll just throw the kitchen sink in at the end of the show for the encore. But that's kind of the journey that it takes through the night."] SOUNDCUE (:15 OC: . . . through the night)

Even though Foreigner has never fallen into the category of "critics'" darlings," songwriter, leader, and guitarist Mick Jones — the sole original founding member still in the band — told us that Foreigner's album sales and ticket receipts prove that they've always struck the right chord with fans: ["How can you complain about people listening, and hearing, and your music reaching so many people? I think it's wonderful. It's a great achievement to have these songs having stood the test of time like this, you know, and getting the amount of play they still do."] SOUNDCUE (:13 OC: . . . they still do)

Grand Funk Railroad's co-founding drummer Don Brewer still plays with the band along with original bassist Mel Schacher. Brewer spoke about what frontman Max Carl and former-Kiss lead guitarist Bruce Kulick bring to the lineup: ["Max is formerly a singer for .38 Special and also Jack Mack & The Heart Attack, and he's probably one of the last great blue-eyed soul singers that this country's ever seen. He's just a great songwriter and a great singer. And combine that with Bruce Kulick, who is also an extremely gifted rock guitar player, you've got this other side of the thing. You got rock and you got R&B, and you put the two together and, I mean, that kinda is what Grand Funk is."] SOUNDCUE (:24 OC: . . . grand funk is)
