Former bassist and vocalist of Deep Purple, Glenn Hughes says that he and Whitesnake’s David Coverdale don’t get along with the other band members.

He Commented on the induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, during which Hughes and Coverdale were inducted along with former bandmates Ritchie Blackmore and the late Jon Lord plus current members, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, and others. Hughes said they have “personality problems.” As to his thoughts on the current line-up of the band, Hughes said he has “no idea and doesn’t really care.”

He had all good things to say about David Coverdale, stating, “It was not an easy night for us. If you look at the body language, it’s pretty obvious, you know? But again, David and I have been thick and thin for so long, I just dearly love him.”

According to Coverdale, they tried to stop them from giving speeches which made his wife furious. He said, “F**** it. Nobody’s going to Keep us off!”

Hughes’ current band, The Dead Daisies will release a new album called Holy Ground, next month.
