Eric Clapton, whose been very vocal, isn’t backing down from his stance against COVID-19 policies.

He previously refused to play live shows that require attendees to prove they've been vaccinated. And now, he has released a politically-charged new song called “This Has Gotta Stop.”

On Friday (Aug. 27,) the 76-year-old posted his new music, along with a video. Some of the lyrics include the lines… “Enough is enough. I can't take this BS any longer. It's gone far enough.”

The animated music video shows faceless figures gathering to protest and holding signs with messages that read… “Liberty” and “Stop.”

Last year, Clapton also made his thoughts about COVID-19 loud and clear with his anti-lockdown song that he recorded with Van Morrison, called “Stand and Deliver.”

TL;DR:

  • Eric Clapton has released a politically-charged new song called “This Has Gotta Stop.”
  • He previously refused to play live shows that require attendees to prove they've been vaccinated.
