    LOCATIONS
    Central and northern Alabama, Extreme northwest and west central Georgia
    EFFECTIVE
    This Monday afternoon and evening from 400 PM until 1000 PM CDT.
    THREATS
    Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible, Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible, A tornado or two possible
    SITUATION
    Clusters of storms will spread eastward from Mississippi into Alabama through late evening, and eventually reach northwest Georgia. Storm mode will be complicated with a mix of clusters and some embedded supercells with attendant threats of occasional wind damage, large hail, and a tornado or two. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles north and south of a line from 55 miles southwest of Muscle Shoals AL to 45 miles east northeast of Anniston AL.     PRECAUTIONS
    A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce tornadoes.

Elvis Costello Announces U.S. Tour

Elvis Costello has announced a U.S. tour for next year.

The 7-0-7 Tour will kick off on January 10, in Tallahassee, Florida, and run through February 2, with a final date scheduled in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Along with his Imposters bandmates… Steve Nieve, Pete Thomas, and Davey Faragher, he'll be joined by longtime Bob Dylan collaborator, guitarist Charlie Sexton.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 29.

Earlier this year, Costello played a 10-night residency in New York and performed a different set each evening, adding up to over 200 different songs from his catalog.
