From Cradle To Stage, a six-part series from Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his mother Virginia Hanlon Grohl will premiere next month on Paramount+.
The show, inspired by Virginia’s critically-acclaimed book, Cradle To Stage: Stories From The Mothers Who Rocked and Raised Rock Stars, will feature famous performers along with heir mothers including Brandi Carlile, Miranda Lambert, Geddy Lee, Tom Morello, Dan Reynolds and Pharrell Williams.
Dave said in a statement obtained by Deadline, “Having the opportunity to travel the country and tell the stories of these amazing women behind the curtain not only shed some light on the music that they inspired, but also made me appreciate the love that I was given from my own mother, my best friend. It goes without saying that we are all indebted to the women who have given us life. For without them, there would be no music.”
The series premiere, featuring Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons and his mother, Christene Reynolds, will air on May 6th.
