Billy Gibbons Says ZZ Top Will Never Retire

Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top says the band will never retire.

When asked about ever slowing down, the singer/guitarist quoted Keith Richards. He said, the Rolling Stone once told him, “Man, if we’re lucky enough to follow the words of Muddy Waters…we’ll ‘Do it until you die."” And Muddy Waters did just that.

Gibbons told Ultimate Classic Rock that they also have some new tracks upcoming. This summer, ZZ Top is on the road with Lynyrd Skynyrd on the Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour.
