Mrs. Evers was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert T. Evers, son, Thomas Lee Evers, and six siblings.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Johnson, Rising Fawn, GA, Melonie (Steven) Smith; & Angie (Rick) Scott, all of Bryant, AL; grandchildren, Aaron (Tabitha) Smith, Blake (Karen) Smith, Tiffany (Andrew) Scott-Black, & Bradden (Courtney) Scott; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, William Hughes & Ivan Hughes; several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 7th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
