Ronald “Ronnie” Galloway, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. He was born on June 8, 1961, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, and grew up in Trenton, Georgia, on Sand Mountain. Ronnie will be remembered for his warm personality, love of family, and his many interests that brought joy to his life.
Ronnie is survived by his two sons, Ronald Larigene (Tamara) and Christopher Daniel (Kimberly), and his five grandchildren, Brayden, Luke, Tinsley, Xander, and Aiden. He also leaves behind his long-time partner, Pamela Hood, and her two children, Bobby (Catrina) and Brittany Maples, along with her nine grandchildren: Gavin, Devin, Trevin, Aiden, Shaun, Aja, Ava, Ryan, and Ada; brothers, Rex & Roy Galloway.
He was preceded in death by his parents, RC Galloway and Juanita Galloway; his son, Matthew Clay; and his brother, Robert Carnell.
Ronnie was an avid fan of NASCAR, especially the legendary Dale Earnhardt. He also loved Alabama football (Roll Tide) and the Dallas Cowboys. When surrounded by family, he enjoyed playing poker, horseshoes, listening to country music, and sharing a cold Busch beer. Ronnie had a sweet tooth and was known for his love of anything sugary.
He shared many happy years with his long-time love, Pam, and together they made their home in Chattanooga with their beloved dog, Lilly, who was his best friend, along with their other animals.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ricky Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow in Shantytown Cemetery.
