Roger Lee Wilson, age 65, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025. He was born on December 12, 1959, in Texarkana, Texas, to Billy and Wanda Wilson, who predeceased him.
Roger was a graduate of Arkansas State University, where he earned a degree in Chemistry. He moved to Chattanooga in 1986, beginning his career in the Environmental Services industry. Roger retired from Valicor Environmental in June 2023.
Above all, Roger was a loving husband, devoted friend, and cherished family member. Roger had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying hiking and snow skiing, and he especially loved spending time with his beloved dogs. His easygoing nature and kind heart will be missed by all who knew him.
Roger is survived by his wife of 31 years, Dana; his sister, Lyn Pettit of DeQueen, Arkansas; his father-in-law, Walter (Skeeter) Williams; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brett and Keri Williams; and his nephews, Manny Garza, Mark Garza, and Carter Williams.
A visitation to celebrate Roger’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Brainerd Presbyterian Church, 1624 Jenkins Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 12:30 p.m.
