Born on August 10, 1943, in Trenton, Georgia, Pat was the daughter of Jay and Hazel Blackstock. She spent 63 years as a dedicated wife and homemaker.
Pat loved her family, church family, coupons, fried chicken, mac & cheese and was occasionally known to cut a rug. In her younger days she was a fierce roller skater and a mean bowler. She was a devoted member of Rincon Baptist Temple and knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior since 1965.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Tommy Yates; her children, Randy Blackstock, Stephanie Mills (Doug Mills), Stacy Howard (Spencer Howard) and Zach Yates (Kristina Yates); six grandchildren, Ellie Rodriguez (Jose Rodriguez), Sawyer Howard, Jesse Howard (Danielle Howard), Maddie Mills, Kale Yates and Khloe Yates; and four great grandchildren, Maverick Rodriguez, Savannah Howard, River Rodriguez and Harper Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay Blackstock and Hazel Myers; her brothers, Ray, Billy and Bobby Blackstock; and her sister Barbara Joyce Blevins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 16th at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Henagar officiating. Burial will follow in Trenton Baptist Cemtery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
