Mable C. Gray graciously left us on July 22, 2024, at the age of 96 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, CT. Born on November 6, 1927, in Silas, AL, a daughter to Callie Trull. Mable was a proud homemaker who poured her heart into caring for her family.
A funeral service to honor Mable’s life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM ET in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Hawkins Cemetery atop Lookout Mountain.
Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 3:00-8:00 PM ET and on Saturday from 10:00 AM ET until the service hour.
Educated in Alabama, Mable settled in Cheshire, CT in 1970 with her late husband Neal B. Gray, creating a warm and welcoming home. She leaves behind her sons, Scottie and his wife Pati, Clyde, and her daughter Kim and husband Tony, as well as her sister Jean, granddaughter Cassie and husband Josh, and great-granddaughters Madison and Hailey, each of whom held a special place in her heart. In her time on this Earth, Mable's love and dedication to her family enriched the lives of those who knew her, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured forever. May she rest in peace.
