Linda Sue Claxton, 67, of South Pittsburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 in a local hospital.
Linda was born on June 12, 1958 in Bridgeport, AL to the late Melton Harvey & Helen Barnes Durham and was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School. She was employed as a security guard with Pinkerton Investigation Services.
Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray & Jennifer Durham of Jasper, TN. & Thomas & Trish Durham of South Pittsburg, TN.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 3:00 p.m. CST at Guild First Baptist Church, 219 Hales Bar Road, Guild, TN 37340. Pastor Don Smith will officiate. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the service time at the church.
