Lee “Buddy” Edward Riddle, Jr., age 78, of Trenton, GA passed away on Sunday evening January 14, 2024. He owned/operated Riddle Transportation, Inc. He was a former head of the Republican Party of Dade County. A veteran of the US Marine Corp. He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by his parents Lee Edward Riddle and Annie Mae Cooper Russell, brothers Tom and Bill Riddle.
Surviving include his loving wife of 53 years Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Riddle of Trenton, GA; children Jimmy (Tracy) Riddle and Tim (Christy) Riddle of Trenton, GA; Grandchildren Alta Lee Ann (Tyler) McGill, Desirae (Braden) Allen, Tara (Carson Wilburn) Riddle, Paula Potter, and Derek Rickett; Great-Grandson Turk Edward McGill.
A Celebration of his Homegoing will be held 11 AM Saturday January 20th, 2024 in the chapel with his sons Bro. Tim Riddle and Jimmy Riddle along with Jeremiah Quarles officiating. Interment will follow in TN-GA Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until service time at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
