Larry Dwan Ferguson, 74, of Wildwood, GA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
He was born March 29, 1950, in Jackson County, AL. He was preceded in death by his Father, Jess Garvin Ferguson, Mother, Tempie Alma Ferguson, brothers, Lonnie Ferguson
and Harlan (Frances) Ferguson, brother-in-law, Carl E. Sexton, and sisters, Barbara and Sara June Ferguson.
Larry is survived by this sisters, Jean Ferguson Sexton and Clara (Jim) Ferguson Jordan, son, David (Ruth) Ferguson, granddaughter, Shelby Elizabeth Ferguson, step-daughter, Janet (Jimmy) Hawkins, step-grandson, Dakota Hawkins and many nephews and nieces.
Larry owned and operated a small business demolition and earth moving company. He was a resident at Pruitt Health Nursing Home since 2022 in LaFayette, GA., where he was lovingly cared for by the Nursing Staff. He had a friendly outgoing personality and will be missed by many.
Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. (CST), Wednesday August 21, 2024 at Pisgah, AL Cemetery. Pastor Darren Rogers will be officiating.
