Greg A. Johnson, 48, of Jasper, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in a local hospital.
Greg was employed with Shaw Industries of South Pittsburg and was also self-employed in construction and tree service. He played football at North Sand Mountain High School, was an avid fisherman and “amateur archaeologist.” Greg loved his wife, children, and many friends with his large heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Johnson, grandmother, Mary Lu Vance, aunt, Ruthie Hanzlik, cousin, Carrie Sue Hanzlik, and special friend, David “Lurch” Thomas.
Survivors include his wife, Tiffanie Wilson Johnson; children, Jonathan Curtis Johnson and David Tyler Johnson, Ruthie Elaine Johnson, one special baby on the way, & Harley Boyd; mother, Peggy Johnson; special friends, Shane, Scottie, & Kyle Clark, & Brent Chapman.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Tony Turner officiating. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
