Gary W. Barclay, 81, of Rossville, GA, left this world on a train bound for glory on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at his residence.
Gary was born on Scottsboro, AL to the late Wilson & Juanita Jarnagin Barclay and lived several years in Indiana but has lived in North Georgia for the past 40 years. He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar & Lular Thomasson of Scottsboro, AL, & John & Cecil Turner Jarnagin of Chattanooga, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Jones Barclay; daughter, Janice (Lamar) Tate; son, Gerald (April) Barclay; grandchildren, Morgan & Dylan Tate, Jordyn, Gary, Logan & Shelbie Barclay; great-grandchildren, Holden, Rayleigh, & Amarah Harris, Adelyn & Krew Barclay.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Richard Floyd officiating. Please, no flowers.
