Ed King, longtime resident of Dade County, passed away on June 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Known for his sharp wit, generous spirit, and deep roots in the community, Ed touched the lives of many. He was preceded in death by his best friend, Dick “Deadeye” Hamilton, with whom he shared a lifetime of stories, laughter, and friendship.
He is survived by his grandson, Brandon Christopher King, Brandon’s wife Michelle, and their daughter Lauren, along with other cherished family and friends. Ed will be remembered for his loyalty, wisdom, and the quiet strength he carried through life. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
