Dortha Marie Carter, 86, of Lookout Valley, TN, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024.
Mrs. Carter was a graduate of Sylvania High School and a member of Lookout Valley Baptist Church. She was a retired secretary and bookkeeper from Custom Cabinets in Dutton, AL.
Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 67 years, Jesse A. Carter; daughter, Pamela J. Carter, West Haven, UT, & Donna M. Carter, Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Jessica M. Vellinga & Michael A. Kittner; great-grandsons, Carter & Kaysen Vellinga.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wade Casey & Rev. Danny Whitaker officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Dutton, AL.
