Donnie Gray Rogers, 81, of Ider, AL, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Rogers was a retired loan officer for First Southern Bank following 18 years of service and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved her family, husband, kids, grandchildren, working in her flower beds, & cooking, especially bread. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kelvie & Bertie Gray, sons, Chuck & Stacey Ellis, sisters, Annie Ruth Gray & Doris West, & brother, Kenneth Wayne Gray.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, J.D. Rogers; children, Greg (Angela) Ellis, Jason (Melissa) Ellis of Ider, AL; step-children, Terry Rogers, Ider, AL, Angie (Jeff) Chambers, Rising Fawn, GA, & Pam (Mike) Trennell, Ider, AL; twenty grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Nayomia Rogers; several nieces & nephews.
