Donald A. Nicks, Jr., age 80, of Rising Fawn, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at his residence. He was born June 30, 1943, in Chicago, IL to the late Donald A. and Ann Nicks, Sr. Mr. Nicks resided in Homestead, FL for many years prior to moving to Rising Fawn, GA 17 years ago.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy L. McCoy and brothers, Dave & Dale Nicks.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Ann Nicks; daughters, Kelly Burke & Karen Weiler Bursley; brothers, Danny, Dennis, & Darrell Nicks; sister Debbi Jean, many grand and great-grandchildren;
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 140 New England Road, Wildwood, GA. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church hall.
