Dean “Pappy” Chambers
September 10, 1953 - January 24, 2024

Dean “Pappy” Chambers, 70, of Rising Fawn, was born on September 10, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to the late Kenneth & Ann Chambers. He lost his battle with cancer on January 24, 2024.

Pappy is survived by his loving wife, LuAnn Chambers and his children, Heather (Steve) Green & Heath (Tara) Chambers. A great joy of his life were his grandchildren, Nathaniel & Ethan Green, and Katlyn & Grayson Chambers. In addition to his parents, Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by his brothers & sisters.

Pappy’s greatest accomplishment was becoming a private pilot. He worked for many years at the Kennedy Space Center, served in the U.S. Army, lived life to the fullest, and had many passions. Pappy had a great impact on the lives of many people, and he had a special way of brightening the room whenever he walked in.

The family would like to thank all who care for him in his battle, especially the staff of Parkridge Medical Center, & Dr. Holland. Pappy was well-known throughout the hospital and the Rising Fawn community. No services will be held. You may share your expressions of sympathy on his guestbook at ryanfuneralhome.net.
