David Lynn Shavers, age 65, of Trenton, GA passed away on January 1, 2026. He was a graduate of Northwest Georgia High School Class of 1978. He was employed at Wheland Foundry serving 10 years before finding his passion in the transportation industry as truck driver. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Preceded in death by his parents Doyle and Margie Shavers, and sister Janet York.
He lives behind his loving wife of 47 years Angie Shavers of Trenton, GA; children April Shavers and Brandi Alexander, both of Trenton, GA; five grandchildren Gabriel Keener, Alexis Simmons, Paris Jada Simmons, Kyler Alexander, and Hannah Alexander; also, several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
