Charlotte R. Richard, 88, of Trenton, GA, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Richard was employed by Lupton City, and then later retired from Shaw Industries (Armstrong) following 25 years of service. She was a member of Bryant Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling in her R.V. with her late husband of 64 years, Andrew J. Richard.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Euna Avans, and siblings, Charlcie Cloud, Patricia Phillips, & Donald Avans.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Terry (Renee) Richard of Murfreesboro, TN, Sharon (George) Beaty, Evensville, TN, James (Dianna) Richard, Sale Creek, TN, & Ronnie (Leslie) Richard, Madison, TN; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronald (Deidra) Avans, Neocia Bolton, & Larry (Loretta) Avans; several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Winters officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20th from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
